WPS Procurement Service was founded in 1993 by a management by-out from ABB Switzerland.
During decades of working for ABB in the procurement section our senior staff has worked out enormous
skills in procurement and made thousands of contacts to reputed suppliers and manufacturers all over the world.

In many challenging procurement cases they have become familiar with contracts, export terms,
forwarding requirements, inspections and quality assurance aspects. Our staff nowadays take enormous advantage of this knowledge.

Using state-of-the-art technology in communication, we allow our customers to work on very efficient procedures,
which at the end result in very productive and economical procurement activity. We call this - "smart procurement".

Our location in Switzerland is well chosen, as it is a politically stable country in the center of Europe with high concern on
quality aspects from the natural mentality of the people. Our staff is multilingual, allowing them to communicate easily with
all other European countries, which is essential in order to achieve "smart procurement".

In these many years of providing procurement services we have become familiar with mentalities and procedures
in the countries of our customers. This enables us to form an excellent interface between the mentality in the country of our customers and our own European one. Many European manufacturers, do not understand what tender, performance bond, stamp fees etc. are all about and that, as a general requirement, they have to follow such procedure.
